North American Coton Association Code of Ethics Breeders have a previous recommendation from 1 of their peers and are not breeding more than 2 breeds of dogs.

Each NACA Breeder is expected to do health testing that is appropriate to their lines.

Puppy buyers are encouraged to ascertain what health testing a breeder has done on a puppy’s sire and dam.

If you have questions that you need to ask your potential puppy breeder, please don’t hesitate to do so. All health information should be revealed to you as a puppy buyer.

NACA COE Breeders designated as “Breeder Emeritus” have retired from breeding Cotons but due to their continued support of our Club, mentorship, and devotion to the Coton de Tulear breed, they remain active in several areas of the Coton de Tulear community.

NACA cannot guarantee the quality, health, soundness, or suitability of a puppy you may decide to obtain from any listed breeder. It is the responsibility of buyers to determine if any Coton de Tulear puppy you may obtain from a breeder is healthy, sound, and meets your requirements.
